Influence of aging of computer room lines
The wire is mainly insulated by a layer of outer sheath. It is corroded by external gas for a long time, and the insulation performance gradually decreases. It gradually ages and hardens, brittle or falls off. At this time, it can not play the role of insulation.
Reasons for aging of computer room lines:
1. External force damage. According to the operation analysis in recent years, especially in Pudong, Shanghai, where the economy is developing rapidly, a considerable number of cable faults are caused by mechanical damage.
2. Damp insulation. This situation is also very common. It usually occurs at the cable joint in the directly buried or row pipe. For example, unqualified cable joints and joints made in humid weather conditions will cause water or steam into the joints, gradually damaging the insulation strength of the cables and causing faults.
3. Chemical corrosion. If the cable is directly buried in the area with acid-base effect, it will often cause the armor, lead skin or outer protective layer of the cable to be corroded. The protective layer will be subject to chemical corrosion or electrolytic corrosion for a long time, resulting in the failure of the protective layer, reduced insulation and cable failure.
4. Long term overload operation. During overload operation, due to the thermal effect of current, when the load current passes through the cable, it will inevitably lead to conductor heating. At the same time, the skin effect of charge, eddy current loss of steel armor and insulation medium loss will also produce additional heat, so as to increase the cable temperature. During long-term overload operation, too high temperature will accelerate the aging of insulation and even the insulation will be broken down. Especially in hot summer, the temperature rise of the cable often leads to the breakdown of the weak part of the cable insulation, so there are many cable faults in summer.
5. Cable connector failure. The cable joint is the weakest link in the cable line. The cable joint failure caused by the direct fault of personnel (poor construction) often occurs. In the process of making cable joints, if there are original nets such as loose joint crimping and insufficient heating, the insulation of cable head will be reduced, resulting in accidents.

Handling line aging:
1) There are some exposed wires.
2) Some wires are against the wall and damaged.
3) Replace the electric switch knife, which is a general standard switch knife.
4) Replace indoor lamp caps and wires, and all bedside switches shall be pull switches.
5) . in order to standardize power consumption management, eliminate potential safety hazards and prevent power theft
6) . lack of necessary monitoring on dangerous points of power consumption
7) . there are loopholes in the installation of leakage protector
8) . the construction enterprise shall earnestly strengthen the education on safe production and training on safe use of electricity for employees, enhance the awareness and ability of employees to prevent electric shock and self safety protection, and especially strictly implement the system for electrical operators to work with certificates.
9) The electrical equipment and insulating tools and instruments on the construction site shall be regularly sent to the qualified electrical test department for DC resistance, grounding resistance, insulation resistance, withstand voltage, leakage and other relevant electrical preventive tests.
10) Educate and guide the electricians on the construction site to learn and master the electrical safety work regulations and low voltage safety work regulations. Do not carry out live line operation at will. When live line operation is necessary, insulation protection measures shall be taken and operation supervisor shall be arranged.
11) Special attention shall be paid to the safe distance between the construction site and the adjacent overhead and laid power lines to avoid steel bars, water pipes, tools and other metal objects touching high and low voltage wires. Electric shock casualties caused by such same problems are common, so special attention should be paid to prevention and monitoring
12) Strengthen daily patrol inspection. A regular and irregular inspection and maintenance management system and accountability system shall be formed to effectively strengthen inspection and supervision on whether the leakage protector acts effectively, whether the melt rating and circuit breaker setting value are correct, and whether the grounding lead and PE line of electrical equipment are well and reliably connected.
