Introduction to installation of weak current data cable
Weak current generally refers to the DC circuit with voltage less than 36V. Audio, network line, line and video line all belong to a part of weak current system. Household appliances, computers, TV signal input (cable TV line), audio equipment (output line) and other electrical appliances are weak current electrical equipment. Referring to these weak current electrical equipment, you may think of the problem of signal transmission. Generic cabling plays a very important role in ensuring the normal transmission of these equipment signals. In addition, generic cabling is a common project in weak current construction, and it is also the most common and key part in weak current construction. Construction steps of weak current wiring:
1、 Determine routing point location
1. Basis for determining weak current wiring points: mark the position of the cassette at each point with a pencil, ruler or ink bucket according to the wiring design drawing and the point position diagram on the wall.
2. Determination of cassette height: except for special requirements, the cassette height shall be consistent with the original strong current socket, and the height of background music tuning switch shall be consistent with the original strong current switch. If there are multiple cassettes together, the distance between cassettes shall be at least 10mm.
2、 Slotting
1. The slotting route shall be determined according to the following principles:
A. Principle of shortest route;
B. Do not destroy the original strong current principle;
C. Do not destroy the waterproof principle.
2. Measurement of trunking: cassette and trunking shall be calculated independently. All trunking shall be measured from the beginning of slotting to the end of trunking. If more than two pipes are placed in the width of trunking, the length shall be calculated by more than twice.
3. Appearance requirements of trunking: horizontal and vertical, with uniform size.
4. Determine the slotting width: determine the number of PVC pipes according to the number of signal lines, and then determine the slotting width.
5. Determine the slotting depth: if 16mm PVC pipe is selected, the slotting depth is 20mm; If 20mm PVC pipe is selected, the slotting depth is 25mm.
3、 Generic cabling construction of weak current project
1. Make sure the cable is unobstructed:
A. Test of network cable and cable: make crystal head respectively and test the connection and disconnection with network tester;
B. Test of cable TV line, audio and video line and audio line: test the connection and disconnection with Multimeter respectively;
C. Other cables: test the connection and disconnection with corresponding professional instruments.
2. Determine the line length for each point:
A. Measure the length from the distribution box slot to each point end;
B. Plus the length of redundant line at each point and distribution box slot: the length of line at the outlet of each point is 200mm-300mm.
3. Determine the number of internal lines: the cross-sectional area of the internal line shall not exceed 80% of the cross-sectional area of the pipe.
4. Determine the label: after cutting all kinds of cables according to a certain length, label both ends of the line respectively, and indicate: weak current type - room - serial number.
4、 Sealing groove
1. Fixed cassette: except that the cassette in kitchen and toilet shall protrude 20mm from the wall, other cassette shall be flush with the wall. Several cassettes shall be on the same horizontal line when they are together.
2. Fixed PVC pipe:
A. PVC pipes on the ground shall be fixed at an interval of one meter;
B. PVC pipes in the trough shall be fixed every two meters;
C. PVC pipes in wall trunking shall be fixed at an interval of one meter.
3. Groove sealing: the wall and ground after groove sealing shall not be higher than the plane.
4. Clean the weak current wiring construction site: after the slot sealing is completed, remove the garbage and clean the construction site.
