Outdoor fiber optic cable GYTS53 direct buried stranded loose tube armored cable designed for robust outdoor applications.

Construction Details
  • Available with single-mode G652, G655, G657 or multimode fibers in loose tubes made of high modulus plastic
  • Water-resistant filling compound for complete cable core protection
  • Steel wire central strength member, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene
  • Tubes and fillers stranded around strength member into compact circular cable core
  • Double sides chromium PSP with PE outer sheath
  • Compatible with single or double wire lashing installation methods

Packing and Shipping

Cable is supplied in lengths as specified in PI or as required. Each length is shipped on a separate iron-wooden drum with minimum barrel diameter not less than 30 times the cable diameter.

Cable ends are sealed with plastic protection caps to prevent water penetration and remain easily accessible for testing. A final inspection test report with attenuation performance data for each fiber is attached inside the drum.
